TOKYO, Thurs: As part of his two-day working visit to Tokyo, Sarawak’s Premier, Datuk Patinggi Tan Sri Abang Haji Tun Datuk Abang Haji Openg today met with top officials of the Sumitomo Corporation at the hotel of his residence, here.
The half-hour discussions between the two parties dwelled on enhancing the collaboration between Sarawak and the Japanese conglomerate, particularly in the sustainability and renewable space.
Afterward, the Premier also held discussions with partners of the Sarawak/Japan green hydrogen project, dubbed the Hornbill project comprised of Sumitomo Corporation and Eneos on the part of Japan and SEDC Energy for Sarawak.
Later, the Premier was interviewed by journalists from by S & P Global and Nikkei Asia.
